LOFOTEN ISLANDS,NORWAY

I returned earlier this month from a trip to the fantastic, Lofoten Islands in Norway.
I was there with another 5 photographers, including 2015 Landscape Photographer of the Year, Andy Farrer and Pete Spencer.
It was an exhausting, but exhilarating week, with lots of snow, little sleep, but some great locations and of course, the Northern Lights.
It was mostly landscape photography work ,but an opportunity to photograph Sea Eagles and Reindeer in the wild proved too tempting for me,as I also love wildlife photography.
The slight sting in the tail was that our plane couldn’t land to take us back to the UK due to very heavy snow in Tromso,so we had to stay an extra day.
If you are considering visiting this area, just do it !!! I could have happily spent a month there.
I now have some 1,500 images to process and will be posting new images to my home page and for sale in my landscape section.
